FBC Brookville

FBC Brookville is a fellowship of Christian believers committed to carrying out the commission of Jesus to go into the world and make disciples, while obeying His command to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves.  As such, we strive to love God and to share His love through ministries that uplift and encourage believers while reaching outside the walls of the church to engage those around us.

FBC Brookville believes in a simple approach to ministry and discipleship, comprised of loving God, loving others, and serving:

1)         We gather together on Sunday mornings to worship our God together and proclaim our love for Him.  This time of praise, proclamation, and prayer is designed to open our hearts for God to kindle in us a deeper love for Him.

2)         We desire to aid you in your personal discipleship process by helping you move into close, loving fellowship with other believers; especially those who are in a similar phase of their life as you.  Our primary tool to meet this goal is our Sunday School, which gathers every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. 

            It is here that you will form your closest bonds of friendship and have your greatest opportunity for interaction and growth as you study the Bible in a relaxed and friendly environment.  It is also in our Sunday School that you can be most easily "plugged in" to the activities of the church and given opportunities for Christian service (i.e. putting faith into action).

3)         On Sunday evenings, we have exchanged our "Sunday Night Service" for "Sunday Night Serving."  This time is dedicated to practical outreach or specific organization, training, and preparation for such.  All who demonstrate a commitment to corporate worship and small-group fellowship are encouraged to join one of our ministry teams and get involved!
